Damian Wampler and the team of Monitor may be headed to the big screen.
Monitor was recently selected as one of three finalists in the AFIN – International Film Festival graphic novel category.
The winning graphic novel will receive the AFIN Crystal Trophy as well as a specially designed mentoring session to assist the comic book creators on their path toward breaking into the film industry. The prize consists of a screenplay consultation with a professional screenwriter and support to turn the beginning of the comic into a screenplay that is ready to pitch to industry professionals.
Winners will only be revealed at AFIN’s LIVE Awards Night, which will be held in Brisbane in late November or December.
