MONITOR
In a not-too-distant future, everyone is implanted with monitors before birth. All vitals and communications are tracked. Data is the only currency. Disconnecting from the Server is a crime. The penalty – death!
Monitor is my second graphic novel and my first collaboration with artist Elisabeth Mkheidze from the Republic of Georgia. We are both thrilled to bring you this adventure with Broken Icon Comics in 2020.
Monitor is inspired by futuristic noir thrillers such as Blade Runner, Minority Report, and The Running Man. When Eric Maddox, and Axon police enforcer for the megalopolis of Seaboard gets accidentally disconnected from the network, he is sentenced to death and must outrun the hunters he used to be part of. But things get complicated when a mysterious woman leads Eric to the stronghold of hundreds of others who have chosen to live off the network. Eric must decide to join their rebellion against the Server, or betray his new family for the near-omnipotent computer network and its predictive matrix. Grab a copy here!
