A middle-class suburban family man, part human, part monster, discovers ancient secrets about his past and tries to survive the growing anti-monster backlash while keeping his family safe.
Monsterly is in the same family of comics as Saga and The Vision. It focuses on prejudice, discrimination, race, and immigration, all told in a fantasy setting where monsters and humans co-exist. We emphasize character and story over plot. Our goal is to appeal to readers who aren’t interested in superhero comics, focusing on audiences who want a grounded emotional drama drawn from real-world experiences.
The first story in the Monsterly sage was published in the award-winning Gwan Anthology volume two. Head on over to my STORE to buy a copy. Monsterly is an ongoing family drama that will continue in the months ahead.
Go back to where you came from! Monsterly will continue. We don’t yet know where we’ll find a home for the ongoing journey of Dave, Anna, Kyler, and Julian, but please visit my blog for news, or shoot me an email.
For now, if you’d like to read the opening story, swing by the STORE and pick up a copy of the Gwan Anthology.
